Heavy Burdens?

With 2025 in the rearview mirror, and 2026 before us, it’s easy to carry the burdens of last year with us into the new. Yet Jesus tells us,

“Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened,
and I will give you rest.  
Take my yoke upon you and learn from me,
for I am gentle and humble in heart;
and
you will find rest for your souls.  
For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.”
Matthew 11:28-30

For those times when we need to lay it all down, I was inspired to write, In Your Hands. I actually wrote it not knowing my father would suffer a massive stroke and pass into glory several weeks later. I didn’t know I would need it, but I did.

What a gift. Now I want to share it with you.
